Bookie Cookie
NSBT BOOKIE COOKIE takes place every Saturday morning from 8:00 to 10:00 am. The sessions are designed to create an engaging and welcoming space where individuals can share their favorite reads, discuss thought-provoking ideas, and explore diverse genres.
Bookie Cookie isn’t confined to the walls of NSBT—it’s about bringing the community together.

The initiative has been hosted at iconic venues like Starbucks, where coffee and conversations flowed seamlessly, and No Nonsense Meals, where books paired perfectly with delicious food. A session was held at the Kham restoration project in partnership with the Trailbalzers Club where 60 underprivelged children were mentored by NSBT Students to read. A session was also held at Cloverdale School where NSBT students read with students of Class 9 and discussed the importance of reading books with the students.

This initiative is a brainchild of Dr. Sanvedi Rane, Aishrwarya Temkar, Vidhi Mehta and Kaushal Nagori.

Each Bookie Cookie session typically includes a book review, an open discussion, and a lot of moments of quiet reading, allowing participants to immerse themselves fully in the experience. Faculty, students, and community members come together to exchange ideas and perspectives, making it a vibrant hub of learning and inspiration.

The most heartwarming moment was to host the Bookie Cookie at the Kham River for which we are eternally greateful to Varroc Group and Ecosattva.

Whether you're an avid reader or just beginning your journey with books, Bookie Cookie welcomes everyone to be part of this enriching experience. Join us next Saturday and let the magic of books transform your weekend!
