The conference on Inclusive Entrepreneurship and Inclusive Education focused on the synergy between creating opportunities through entrepreneurship and providing quality education for all, regardless of background or circumstances. This dual approach aims to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion, recognising the interconnectedness of entrepreneurship and education in building an inclusive society.

Key Themes

- Inclusive Entrepreneurship: Emphasises an entrepreneurial ecosystem accessible to everyone, including underrepresented groups. It involves providing necessary support, resources, and opportunities to help individuals start and grow businesses.

- Inclusive Education: Ensures access to quality education for all students, including those with disabilities, and promotes diversity and inclusivity in the classroom.

By integrating these approaches, the conference highlighted how barriers can be broken down, creating a more level playing field for everyone.

Planning and Execution

I, along with my classmates Aboli, Ayesha, Saurabh, and Sarthak, played crucial roles in planning and executing the conference. Our experiences and efforts were instrumental in the event's success.

1. My Role: I was responsible for guest arrivals, check-ins, check-outs, and departures. Ensuring a seamless experience for the guests, I handled logistics with precision and hospitality.

2. Aboli and Ayesha: Tasked with venue arrangements, Aboli and Ayesha managed everything from seating layouts to decoration, ensuring that the venue was welcoming and well-organized for the attendees.

3. Sarthak: In charge of tech support and branding at the venue, Sarthak ensured that all technological aspects, such as presentations and audio-visual equipment, ran smoothly. He also took care of branding materials, ensuring the event had a professional and cohesive look.

4. Saurabh: Responsible for vendor coordination, Saurabh liaised with various vendors to ensure timely delivery and setup of necessary supplies, from catering to promotional materials.

Overcoming Challenges

We faced a significant challenge when there was a last-minute hotel room cancellation. Thanks to our quick thinking and strong networking skills, we managed to mitigate this potential disaster. Our ability to adapt and find solutions under pressure showcased our exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Team Dynamics and Communication

We created a special group to facilitate continuous communication among the team members. Roles and responsibilities were clearly assigned, and all five of us, along with our faculty Dr. Sanvedi Rane, stayed in constant touch. This effective communication and clear delegation of tasks ensured a smooth planning process and execution.

Learning Outcomes

The experience provided us with invaluable real-time management lessons. We learned the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to think on our feet.

Acknowledgment and Success

Due to our collective efforts, the conference proceeded without any hiccups. Our dedication and hard work were recognised and appreciated by both attendees and guest speakers, highlighting our contributions to the event's success. We are very grateful to NSBT for giving us this wonderful opportunity.
