As I prepare to step into the next chapter of my life, I can’t help but look back at the incredible journey I’ve had over the last three years at Nath School of Business and Technology (NSBT). What began as a timid step into college life has turned into a life-changing experience filled with growth, transformation, and unforgettable memories.
When I first joined NSBT, I was a very shy student. With only a few friends and a serious case of stage fright, I often avoided situations where I had to speak in front of others. Public speaking felt like an impossible task, and I lacked the confidence to express myself. But little did I know, NSBT was about to become the turning point in my life.
From the very first semester, the environment at NSBT was warm and welcoming. Slowly, I started making new friends who soon became my biggest support system. Whether it was working on class projects, attending events, or simply hanging out after lectures, those friendships brought me out of my shell. They made me feel seen, heard, and valued—and for that, I’ll always be grateful.
One of the most impactful parts of my journey was how NSBT helped me build my confidence. Through various classroom presentations, club activities, and opportunities to volunteer in college events, I found myself slowly stepping onto the stage—literally and figuratively. What used to be stage fright turned into stage presence. I still remember the first time I addressed an audience—it was nerve-wracking, but exhilarating. That moment was a small victory that marked a much bigger transformation.
NSBT didn’t just help me grow socially—it helped me grow professionally. With the guidance of my faculty and mentors, I was able to understand my strengths, interests, and passions more clearly. I explored areas I had never considered before and gained practical knowledge about how the world works. Over these three years, I secured two internships that gave me hands-on experience in the industry. I also actively participated in college competitions and events, which not only enhanced my skills but also gave me a sense of belonging and purpose.
Volunteering at college events was another highlight of my time here. From organizing fests to helping manage guest lectures, I learned the value of teamwork, leadership, and time management. Each experience added a new layer to who I am today.
Looking back, these past three years have been nothing short of transformative. I entered NSBT as a quiet, hesitant student—but I leave as someone who is confident, self-aware, and ready to take on the world. The people I’ve met, the lessons I’ve learned, and the memories I’ve made will always stay with me.
Thank you, NSBT, for not just being a college, but for being a place where I discovered myself. From silence to strength, from hesitation to hope—this is my journey, and I owe it all to you.
