In today’s fast-moving world, just having a degree is not enough to build a good career, especially in the field of technology. The tech industry looks for people who not only understand theory but also know how to apply it to real-world problems. That’s why practical knowledge, skill development, and industry exposure are so important.

Nath School of Business and Technology (NSBT), a part of MGM University in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. It does not focus only on books and classroom lectures, it prepares us to face the real tech world with confidence. From the first day of our course, we get guidance from experienced faculty members and are given many opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally.

In this blog, I will share how NSBT helps students like me build a successful tech career.

1. Industry-Focused Curriculum

One of the best things about NSBT is that the curriculum is based on what the industry really needs. The subjects we study are not outdated. We learn about the latest technologies that are used by top tech companies today.

For example, I am pursuing a BCA (Hons.) in Cloud Technology and Information Security. In this course, we learn about popular cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. These platforms are used by companies around the world to run their applications and manage data. Along with this, we also study important cybersecurity topics, which are in high demand in the industry.

This industry-focused education gives us an edge when we apply for internships or jobs. We already have knowledge about tools and technologies that companies use daily.

2. Hands-On Learning

NSBT believes that students learn better when they do things themselves. That’s why we are encouraged to do a lot of practical work. We don’t just listen to lectures, we build projects, take part in lab sessions, solve real-life problems, and participate in tech challenges.

One of the most exciting parts of our learning is the opportunity to join events like hackathons and innovation challenges. These events allow us to be creative, solve problems, and work as a team. They also prepare us to think like real professionals, not just students.

I would like to share my own experience with the Codethon event. I participated in the Codethon and was able to reach the second round. This event helped me improve my logical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in programming languages like Java and C. It made me more confident and gave me a better understanding of how to approach coding challenges.

These practical sessions and events help us become skilled in using the tools we study. We learn how to apply our knowledge, which is exactly what companies expect from freshers.

3. Experienced and Supportive Faculty

Our teachers at NSBT are not only experts in their subjects—they also understand how the tech industry works. They have real-world experience and explain tough concepts in a way that is easy to understand.

The faculty members are always ready to help us. If we have doubts, they take the time to explain things again. They also encourage us to take part in activities outside the classroom, like group projects, technical events, and research work. Their constant support and motivation help us improve and aim higher.

Having such teachers makes a big difference. It creates a learning environment where students feel supported and excited to learn.

4. Professional Certifications and Training

In today’s competitive world, having certifications from global tech companies can make a big difference in your career. At NSBT, we get the chance to earn certifications from companies like AWS, Google, and Microsoft.

These certifications are recognized all over the world and show that we have real knowledge about specific technologies. They also make our resumes stronger and improve our chances of getting good job offers.

Personally, I completed the AWS Cloud Foundation course. It helped me understand how cloud computing works and how companies use it to manage their services. The knowledge I gained from this course is already helping me in my studies and projects.

5. Workshops and Guest Lectures

Every semester, NSBT organizes workshops, guest lectures, and seminars. These sessions are conducted by experts from the industry. They share their experiences, talk about current job trends, and give us advice on how to build a career in tech.

Listening to these professionals gives us a clear idea of what the industry expects from us. We also learn about different roles and career paths we can choose from. It’s a great way to build knowledge and get inspired.

These sessions also help us connect with industry people and grow our professional network, which can be useful for internships or future job opportunities.

6. Soft Skills and Communication Training

While technical skills are important, soft skills are equally necessary to succeed in the workplace. NSBT pays attention to this too. We have sessions that help us improve our communication, teamwork, presentation, and leadership skills.

We are trained to speak confidently, write professional resumes, and prepare for interviews. These soft skills help us perform better during job interviews, group discussions, and while working with teams in the future.

By developing both technical and personal skills, we become well-rounded individuals who are ready for any challenge.

7. A Culture of Learning and Growth

NSBT has a positive and encouraging learning environment. The campus is full of energy and creativity. We are surrounded by students who are passionate about technology and teachers who support our growth.

The focus is not only on exams and grades. We are encouraged to take part in clubs, tech fests, cultural events, and even social service activities. These activities help us build confidence, improve time management, and learn how to work with others.

This culture of learning helps us grow not just as students, but as future professionals and responsible individuals.

Thank you!
