NSBT Didn't Just Teach; It Raised.

22nd August 2022 — the date etched in my memory forever. I stepped into NSBT for the very first time, nervous and unsure, in a board room with hardly 15 students. We were strangers then, exchanging hesitant smiles and quiet introductions. I still remember how fearful and hesitant I was to speak — shy and unsure of what was ahead. That was Day One.
As time passed, the class filled, strangers turned into friends, and friends became family. From that very first day to now, NSBT has been more than just a college to me — it has been a school of life. I didn’t just learn subjects; I learned how to walk with confidence, how to talk with purpose, how to dress with professionalism, and how to carry myself with dignity. NSBT groomed me, guided me, and most importantly — it raised me.
NSBT gave me a family. The faculty here is not just knowledgeable but deeply supportive, nurturing every student like their own. From teachers to staff, I always found someone to talk to, someone who would listen. They made the campus feel like home.
Our Director, Jajoo Sir, has been a pillar of strength. He believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. He encouraged me to dream big and pushed me to break boundaries. His trust in my potential changed the course of my journey.
Moments That Became Memories
Our journey wasn’t all books and lectures. We celebrated life too — with Garba nights, Malang, Robarro, and so many unforgettable events. A special memory etched in my heart is our trip to Bhandardara and Sandhan Valley with classmates and juniors. Amidst laughter, treks, and campfires, we built memories that will last forever.
And then came the opportunities that transformed my life:
1. Delhi – FCRF Future Crime Summit 2024
Five of us, with Amol Sir and Deepali Ma’am, had the honor to attend this national-level summit. It opened our eyes to the futuristic world of cybercrime and security — things we hadn’t even imagined. We gained knowledge, exposure, and built valuable connections.
One of them was Abhirup Guha Sir from Transasia, who offered me an internship. That internship became my gateway into the real world of cybersecurity. I gained hands-on experience and found myself growing each day — both as a learner and as a professional.
2. Japan Immersion Program – A Life-Changing Experience
The day I was selected for the Japan Immersion Program still feels like a dream. From the rigorous selection process to the moment I stepped on the plane, I couldn’t quite believe it was happening.
Five of us were chosen, guided by Sanvedi Ma’am, and mentored with immense care by Swastika Jajoo Ma’am and Trishit Banerjee Sir from F-ATRAS. From culture to language, values to vision — we immersed ourselves in the life and spirit of Japan. We learned discipline, kindness, and resilience from the people of Fukushima Prefecture, especially how they rebuilt after the 2011 disaster — a story I proudly presented during our Japan Diaries Presentation under the theme of "Revitalization."
There were moments of fun, moments of learning, moments of struggle — but above all, moments that shaped me. Even today, I remember the warmth, the laughter, and the care from the mentors who treated us like their own.
Japan didn’t just give me international exposure — it helped me conquer my fears. I was no longer afraid of people, of stages, of speaking up. I came back a different person — stronger, braver, more confident.
3. Cyber Shield 2025 – The Day I Found My Voice
On 8th and 9th April 2025, NSBT hosted Cyber Shield, a two-day cyber awareness training event for police officers across Marathwada. High-ranking officers, including IG Virendra Sharma Sir, and experts like Amit Dubey, Vijayant Gaur, Deepak Patel, and Amol Warad Sir graced the event.
I stood on that stage, in front of over 250 uniformed police officers, and delivered a session on Digital Forensics. I demonstrated live how deleted data can be recovered using FTK Imager and Autopsy tools.
It hit me then — this was the same girl who once trembled introducing herself to 15 classmates. And here I was now, speaking with confidence and clarity to an auditorium full of decorated officers. That moment — was more than pride. It was a realization of how far I’d come.
What NSBT Truly Gave Me...
It gave me the chance to explore.
The guidance to improve.
The support to rise.
And the wings to fly.
NSBT didn’t just teach me cyber security. It taught me courage, kindness, and confidence. It raised me into the person I am proud to be today.
As I write this, on the edge of my farewell, I’m overwhelmed. The journey that once felt long, now feels too short. How did time fly so fast?
To my friends, teachers, mentors, and this entire NSBT family — thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
I will miss this — every face, every hallway, every classroom, every memory — for a lifetime.
